We are individuals who love the game of hockey and sometimes like to pretend we are real General Managers of real teams. So it was for this reason that we tried to make the pool as much like running a real NHL team as possible.

There is no real prize money involved with winning the pool. If you are lucky enough to win it, you get a free night out with the boys and "bragging rights" for the rest of the year.
